Description

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Network Engineer to join our team in Orlando, Florida. This will involve designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, efficient network infrastructures. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring seamless connectivity across multiple data centers and locations, while safeguarding sensitive data and optimizing network performance.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement scalable network architectures tailored to organizational needs, focusing on security, performance, and reliability.

• Configure and deploy network hardware, such as routers, switches, firewalls, and access points, ensuring proper integration and connectivity.

• Oversee the setup of multi-network environments and data centers to support business operations.

• Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of network configurations, procedures, and processes.

• Collaborate with the IT and security teams to implement network security measures that comply with healthcare regulations.

• Monitor network traffic and performance, diagnosing issues and optimizing configurations to prevent bottlenecks or latency.

• Conduct root cause analysis for network incidents and implement preventive measures to avoid recurrence.

• Plan and execute upgrades, patches, and firmware updates for network hardware with minimal disruption to operations.

• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to team members, ensuring knowledge transfer and best practices.

• Travel up to 20%, primarily within the region, to support network setups and maintenance as needed.

Requirements • Proficiency in configuring and managing Palo Alto and Fortinet firewalls.

• Strong understanding of Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) and Cisco networking systems.

• Demonstrated experience in setting up and managing data centers and multi-network environments.

• Expertise in creating and maintaining detailed network documentation.

• Familiarity with SD-WAN technologies and their implementation.

• Ability to analyze and resolve complex network issues efficiently.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
