    We are seeking a committed HR Specialist to join our team in Mount Vernon, New York. This role is key in maintaining the integrity and smooth functioning of human resources operations, focusing on accurate records management, compliance with labor laws, and promoting a positive workplace culture. The HR Specialist will oversee vital HR administrative tasks, manage employee benefits and leave requests, and support both onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a seamless employee experience. Additionally, the position involves ensuring policy compliance and collaborating on policy updates to align with organizational and legal requirements. A proactive approach, strong attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion are essential for success in this role.

    Requirements

    + Demonstrated experience in employee relations and human resources administration.

    + Strong understanding of onboarding processes and benefits management.

    + Familiarity with HRIS systems and current labor laws.

    + Excellent organizational, communication, and discretion skills when handling confidential information.
