    A Day in The Life of a CDL Truck Driver

     

    As a **CDL Truck Driver** , you will safely transport cargo to and from designated destinations while providing timely, efficient, and reliable service. You will review and maintain accurate documentation for the delivery and pickup of goods. Routes will include **Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, and New York** .. _*_ _Must have a "satisfactory" driving record. Must have CDL Classification/Certification. Requires applicable truck driver license for state._

     

    + Operate commercial vehicles, typically tractor-trailer combinations

    + Safely transport and deliver materials to customer-designated locations

    + Verify cargo and delivery documentation for accuracy

    + Obtain customer signatures as proof of delivery

    + Occasionally assist with unloading when required

    Education & Experience

    + High school degree or equivalent required

    + Valid **Class A CDL** required

    + Minimum of **2 years of Class A CDL truck driving experience**

    Skills & Requirements

    + Willingness and ability to learn flatbed operations

    + Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

    + Ability to be on your feet for extended periods

    + **Vision -** near, far, night

    + Ability to detect or tell differences between sounds varying in pitch and loudness

    + **Ability to quickly respond (with hand, finger, foot) to signals (sound, light, picture) when it appears**
