    THE POSITION

    Begin a new and rewarding career with the Department of Human Services (DHS)! We are seeking an experienced and motivated Third Party Liability Agent Supervisor to lead our team in the Division of Third Party Liability. Your work in this role will guide our staff in recovering medical and cash assistance funds that have been paid for by DHS where a liable third party is responsible.     DESCRIPTION OF WORK

    In this position, you will supervise Third Party Liability Agents recovering medical and cash assistance benefits that were paid correctly or incorrectly. Your work will involve directing and planning work within the unit by assigning and reviewing work, as well as establishing performance standards. You will analyze federal and state lars pertinent to recovery and keep staff apprised of changes. Some of your duties will include ensuring the division’s goals are obtained, acting as liaison between the recover unit and HealthChoices/Managed Care Organizations plans, and researching problems areas within the unit. Additionally, you will participate in work groups and committees to provide relevant information for the development of the new or revised procedures, processes or policies.

    Work Schedule and Additional Information:

    + Full-time employment

    + Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

    + Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 3 days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.

    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

    + One year of experience as a Third Party Liability Agent or Third Party Liability Specialist (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration);or

    + One year of professional experience collecting, interpreting, or analyzing claims information;or

    + An equivalent combination of experience and training.
