• Commercial Security Service Technician

    • What You’ll Do

     

    As a Security Service Technician, you’ll be the go‑to expert for commercial customers relying on you to keep their security systems operating flawlessly. Each day brings something new:

     

    Hands‑On Technical Work

     

    + Perform routine and emergency service calls

    + Troubleshoot and repair intrusion, CCTV, access control, and intercom systems

    + Run system testing, diagnostics, and signal verification

    + Maintain tools, truck stock, and equipment to perfection

     

    Customer & Team Support

     

    + Provide high‑quality customer service during on‑site visits

    + Educate customers on system operation & functionality

    + Mentor, coach, and support junior technicians as needed

     

    Operational Execution

     

    + Complete documentation, service logs, and productivity tasks accurately

    + Manage each assignment independently with minimal supervision

    + Ensure jobs are completed efficiently, safely, and with top‑tier quality

     

    What You Bring

     

    You’re a master of your craft — confident in the field and trusted to get it right the first time.

     

    • 3+ years’ experience servicing commercial security systems

    • Mastery-level troubleshooting skills across intrusion, CCTV, access control, & more

    • Strong understanding of local & national codes

    • Highly skilled with diagnostic tools (multimeters, decibel meters, battery analyzers, etc.)

    • Detail‑oriented, self‑motivated, and excellent at managing your own workload

    • High School Diploma or Vocational Training

    Licensing & Certifications

    + Ability to obtain and maintain required state, local, and product‑specific certifications

    + 50–75% proficiency in Tier 1 commercial product lines

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pelham, AL.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
