    GMP Cleaning & Sanitation Specialist

     

    Contract Position | 6-Month Assignment

     

    2nd Shift: Tuesday-Saturday, 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM

     

    Start Date: January 20, 2026

    Position Overview

    We are seeking a detail-oriented GMP Cleaning & Sanitation Specialist to join our biopharmaceutical manufacturing operations. This role is critical to maintaining compliance and cleanliness standards in a multi-product bulk drug substance facility operating under strict regulatory requirements.

    Primary Responsibilities

    + Execute and coordinate comprehensive cleaning and sanitization protocols for manufacturing process areas in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

    + Clean and sanitize small parts, hoses, and equipment components used in production processes.

    + Prepare and apply approved cleaning solutions appropriate for designated manufacturing spaces.

    + Perform floor-to-ceiling cleaning of controlled environments wearing required personal protective equipment, including respirators.

    + Maintain production areas according to 5S methodology and predefined cleanliness standards.

    + Remove waste materials and maintain organized, compliant work environments.

    Required Qualifications

    Education:

    + High school diploma or equivalent.

    Experience:

    + 1-2 years of experience in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment preferred.

    + Familiarity with biologics operations is advantageous.

    Skills & Competencies:

    + Strong attention to detail with ability to execute tasks accurately and thoroughly.

    + Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

    Physical Requirements & Safety

    **Critical Requirement:** Candidates must successfully complete respiratory medical clearance and respirator fit testing prior to assignment start. Coordination will be arranged through occupational health services.

    Physical Demands:

    + Ability to wear full PPE including respirator, safety footwear, and protective gloves for extended periods.

    + Capability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly.

    + Work in temperature-controlled environments with exposure to cleaning chemicals.
