Amergis Staffing is currently seeking Physical Therapist Assistant for the 2025/26 school year in the Santa Barbara, CA area.

Position Details: PTA License

Schedule: Monday – Friday

Hours/Week: 40 hours

Start Date: January 12th , 2026- June 9th, 2026

Length: 25/26 School Year

Details: Grade Level District Wide, in person, will be working alongside district PT, School experience

Pay: Travel Rate: $2,600( for Candidate over 50 miles)

(If under 50 miles) Local Rate: $55/hour

The Physical Therapy Assistant provides physical therapy services, including treatment, implementation, and documentation, under the direction of the Physical Therapist and in accordance with the physician’s plan of care.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of practice

+ One (1) year of prior professional Physical Therapy Assistant experience preferred.

+ Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice

+ Current CPR if applicable

+ TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

+ Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

+ Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

+ Must be at least 18 years of age
