School Social Worker – $45/hr – Beloit, WI – In-Person – 5 Months

Position Overview:

We are seeking a School Social Worker to support elementary students’ emotional well-being, family engagement, and access to services. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about equity, trauma-informed care, and holistic student support.

Assignment Details:

+ Location: Near Beloit, WI

+ Start Date: January 26, 2026

+ End Date: June 2026 (approx. 5 months)

+ Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

+ Hours: 37.5 per week

+ Pay Rate: $45/hour

+ Modality: In-person only

+ Openings: 1 position

Responsibilities:

+ Provide direct support to students facing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges

+ Collaborate with families, teachers, and staff to develop intervention plans

+ Conduct assessments and connect students to school-based and community resources

+ Support crisis response, conflict resolution, and restorative practices

+ Participate in IEP and 504 meetings as needed

+ Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state guidelines

Requirements:

+ Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW)

+ Valid Wisconsin DPI School Social Worker license

+ Experience with elementary-aged students

+ Knowledge of trauma-informed care and behavioral interventions
