    Respiratory Therapist (RT/CRT) – Acute & LTACH Experience | Night Shift

     

    Facility: Lakeview Specialty Hospital and Rehab

     

    Start Date: 2/2/2026

     

    Hours per Week: 36 (3×12)

    About the Role

    The facility is seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist (RT/CRT) to provide respiratory and pulmonary therapy, management, and rehabilitation under physician direction. This role supports patients across the lifespan—from infants to older adults—who are experiencing breathing difficulties or pulmonary conditions. The Respiratory Therapist will deliver care in a variety of healthcare settings and contribute to effective treatment and recovery.

     

    Candidates must have at least two years of respiratory therapy experience, including acute care or LTACH exposure.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Provide respiratory and pulmonary therapy to patients of all ages

    + Deliver treatments and interventions under physician supervision

    + Manage ventilators, oxygen therapy, and airway support

    + Assess patient respiratory status and adjust care plans as needed

    + Document all therapy and interventions accurately

    + Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to support patient recovery

    + Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations

    Shift Schedule

    + Shift: Nights, 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM

    + Schedule: 3×12 weekly

    + Weekends: Required; 2 out of every 3 weekends

    Minimum Requirements

    + Current Respiratory Therapist Certification (CRT) or state-required registration

    + Minimum one year of clinical respiratory therapy experience preferred

    + Two years of RT experience required for this assignment

    + Acute care or LTACH experience required

    + Current CPR certification (if applicable)

    + TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (as required)

    + Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

    + Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements

    + Must be at least 18 years of age

    Compensation PackagesLocal Respiratory Therapist

    + Pay Rate: $55/hr

    + Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,980

    Travel Respiratory Therapist

    + Hourly Pay: $30/hr

    + Meals: $476

    + Housing: $770

    + Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,326

     

    No unbilled orientation unless noted.
