    Job Title: RN – Psychiatric (Night Shift)

     

    Facility: HealthSource Saginaw

    Position Overview:

    HealthSource Saginaw is seeking experienced Psychiatric Registered Nurses (RNs) for a 13-week travel contract. This role involves working with adolescent and adult psychiatric patients in a dynamic behavioral health setting. Nurses must be comfortable floating between units and providing comprehensive mental health care. The Psychiatric/Mental Health (PMH) Registered Nurse, requires a wide range of nursing, psychosocial, and neurobiological expertise. PMH nurses promote well-being through prevention and education, in addition to the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health and substance use disorders. The nurse demonstrates ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner and demonstrates critical thinking and performance ability in the coordination of patient care. The PMH RN works in a variety of settings and provides comprehensive care to individuals, families, and communities when applicable.

    Contract Details:

    + Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (preferred)

    + Schedule: Rotating 36/48-hour weeks (built-in OT!)

    + Orientation: 1 week (day shift), then transition to nights

    + Length: 13 weeks (extensions common)

    + Pay: Travel $2,098/week

    + Setting: Adolescent, adult, and geriatric psych units

    Minimum Requirements:

    + Current Registered Nurse Licensure in MI

    + Current CPR if applicable

    + TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

    + Experience in psychiatric nursing (adolescent psych preferred)

    + Ability to float between units
