    Amergis Staffing is currently seeking both TRAVEL and Local experienced LPN Psych nurses in Goldsboro, NC!

     

    Position: LPN Psych

    Shifts available:

    • X2 2nd- 3p-11:30p, 40, EOW

    • X1- 1st shift- 7a-3:30p, 40, EOW

    • X2 12hr nights- 7p-7:30a, 36/48, EOW

     

    Only wanting caregivers that have lived in NC for the last 5yrs or more.

     

    Contract Length: 16 wks

    O’Berry Neuro-Medical Treatment Center is a specialized skilled nursing facility certified by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services under the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act long term care regulations.

     

    The Neuro-Medical Treatment Centers support adults with chronic and complex medical and/or behavioral conditions that coexist with neurocognitive disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders, or severe and persistent mental illness

     

    First 2-4 weeks will be orientation- NO RTO OR CALL OUTS WILL BE PERMITTED IN FIRST 2-4 WEEKS.

     

    Orientation Schedule is M-F 8a-4p

     

    The Psychiatric or Mental/Behavioral Health LPN is responsible and accountable for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care in the psychiatric unit of a hospital, mental health/behavioral health hospital, or they can be responsible for care in community settings.

     

    The LPN must demonstrate the ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner with the supervision of a Registered Nurse and in collaboration with the care team.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + Current LPN license in state of assignment

    + 1 year experience in a psychiatric care setting preferred

    + Current CPR if applicable

    + TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

    + Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

    + Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

    + Must be at least 18 years of age
