    Manager, Pricing Operations

     

    Reporting to the Director, Pricing Operational Excellence

    Context:

    L'Oréal USA is embarking on a significant transformation by establishing a new, multi-division Pricing organization under the North America CFO. This initiative is crucial for the upcoming NEO system implementation and "The Way We Trade," aiming to reduce customer disputes, enhance efficiency, and improve data quality.

    What You Will Do:

    + Pricing Data Management & Maintenance:

    + Responsible for setting list prices for new product launches and updating prices for existing products, and BOMs across all divisions and brands.

    + Enter and manage data entries/uploads of SRP, ULP, and PVIS for Exports Hubs in SAP S4, ensuring informational parity across systems.

    + Coordinate the centralization of price lists and their updates, managing associated Excel files for alignment and approval.

    + Ensure the accuracy and integrity of pricing master data within relevant systems.

    + Analyze and ensure the accurate entering of Sales Deals in SAP S4 across all divisions and brands.

    + Process Execution & Improvement:

    + Ensure accurate and timely data entry and uploads into SAP, playing a critical part in reducing price discrepancies and improving order accuracy.

    + Serve as the primary contact for resolving price discrepancies caused by mismatches between L'Oréal and account orders.

    + Involve upstream process coordination and price change orchestration, managing alignment and stakeholder interactions (e.g., ensuring approval steps or completeness of list including BOM).

    + Be a proactive and strategic partner to the Director, Pricing Operational Excellence in analyzing the current state of the pricing process and identifying process harmonization/improvement areas to enhance efficiency, ensure adherence to Internal Control, and improving KPIs.

    + Assist in the mapping of processes/RACIs for future state of pricing organization.

    + Stakeholder Collaboration:

    + Work closely with account-specific discount managers (especially for EDLP).

    + Collaborate with RGM, Marketing, Commercial Finance, and Sales Teams/KAM to ensure seamless and accurate price implementation.

    What We Are Looking For:

    + BA/BS degree in Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.

    + 5+ years of progressive experience in finance, operations, or process improvement roles within a large, complex organization.

    + Power BI Proficiency: Capable of building automated dashboards and dynamic reports to streamline reporting. You will turn complex data into actionable insights and KPIs that support the team’s strategic goals

    + Strong analytical skills to manage data accuracy and discrepancies, understand pricing principles (SRP to ULP).

    + Effective communication and collaboration skills for liaising with multiple stakeholders and harmonizing processes across divisions.

    + Ability to manage processes with attention to detail and organizational acumen.

    + Experience in SAP a plus.

    + Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic setting, demonstrating strong organization, commitment to deadlines, and composure under pressure.

    Salary Range: $98K-140K base depending on experience

     

    A Note on Team Structure: This is a newly formed organization designed to support a transforming business landscape. While you will primarily support the Pricing Operational Excellence team, our operating model is designed to be agile. As we stabilize processes and workload post-launch, team members may occasionally support other pillars of the Pricing organization (Retail-Specific or Multi-Division) or shift focus to balance business needs. We are looking for flexible team players who thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
