Schedule: 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. | Weekend & Holiday Rotation

In this role, you will:
+ Review patient charts and perform comprehensive initial assessments.
+ Develop individualized treatment plans and administer evidence-based physical therapy interventions.
+ Monitor progress, adjust care plans as needed, and provide patient education to support long-term success.
+ Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes.
Your work will help patients increase overall functioning, reduce discomfort, and maintain flexibility, strength, and range of motion-all while achieving their medical and therapeutic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Communicate patient status and progress with referring physicians and care teams.
+ Serve as a clinical instructor for physical therapy students, residents, and fellows in specialty areas.
+ Maintain professional licensure through ongoing education and development.
+ Perform assessments, reassessments, and treatments for patients of all ages (pediatric to geriatric).
+ Develop and modify care plans based on patient response and changing needs.
+ Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants and collaborate to ensure quality care.
+ Rotate through treatment areas as needed to support organizational needs.
+ Document all services accurately, including assessments, follow-ups, and discharge summaries.
+ Provide home instructions to patients and families when appropriate.
+ Maintain productivity standards while delivering exceptional patient care.

Education & Knowledge Requirements:
+ Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
Skills & Abilities:
+ Strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and customer service.
+ Comprehensive understanding of human growth and development across the lifespan.
+ Ability to read, analyze, and interpret medical records accurately.
+ Proficient in planning, organization, delegation, problem-solving, and time management.
+ Skilled in applying logical and strategic thinking to complex situations.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Ability to identify referral growth opportunities and contribute to program development.
+ Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams, colleagues, and leadership.
+ Active participation in professional organizations is preferred.
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
+ Active Physical Therapy license in the state of practice required.
+ CPR certification (AHA standards including didactic and skills demonstration) within 30 days of hire.

+ Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
+ Physical Therapist (PT)
+ Act 33 with renewal
+ Act 34 with renewal
+ Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal
