    ANCC Magnet designated UPMC Passavant is currently hiring a Part-Time Equipment Reprocessor to support our GI Lab at the McCandless location.

    Shift Details:

    + Monday-Friday

    + 40 hours every 2 weeks (alternating 3 days a week, then 2 days the next week)

    + Variable start time between 6am and 8:30am

    + Shift and scheduling details will be further discussed during the interviewResponsibilities:

    + Demonstrate accurate cleaning and disinfection procedures for all endoscopes and accessories.

    + Adhere to universal infection control guidelines when cleaning and disinfecting scopes and accessories.

    + Contribute to an efficient work and team environment.

    + Assume responsibility for own development.

    + Maintain unit standards of quality control and safety.

    + Demonstrate proper handling techniques for scopes and accessories.

    + Contribute to maintaining a neat, clean and safe environment.

    + High school diploma or equivalent required.

    + Previous employment or training as an Endoscopy Technician or other medical specialty such as Central Service Technician preferred.Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

    + Act 34
