As a Security Officer – Surveillance, you will be the person spotting threats before they escalate in environments such as a security operations centers, call centers, parking gatehouses, etc.

+ Set schedule: Full-time 5:00 AM -1:00 PM OR 9:00 PM - 5:00 AM overnight 32HRS

Responsibilities of Surveillance Security Guard

+ Ensure that GardaWorld Security core values are integrated into and throughout all business practices

+ Supervise the day-to-day security service provided to the facility and ensure service is of the highest standards – capable of representing GardaWorld as the premier provider of security services in the industry

+ Assist in the development and implementation of staffing schedules, payroll, and other reports

+ Responsible for corrective action and discipline of subordinate officers (up to formal warnings) and recommending and participating in other disciplinary decisions up to and including termination.

+ Exercise independent judgement and sound decision making in performing all duties

+ Be ready to respond to any operational emergency and insure timely response, timely and efficient communications and accurate reporting

+ Regularly review security officer schedules and staffing levels to identify opportunities for improvement of security operations, decreased risk, and reduced cost where possible

+ Other duties as assigned

Qualifications of a Surveillance Security Guard

+ Strong computer / technology skills needed for this position

+ Must have 2+ Years of Security Management Experience

+ Must have 2 years of data entry experience

+ Be authorized to work in the U.S.

+ Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED

+ Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process

+ Strong report writing skills

+ Good eyesight and excellent abilities to maintain focus

+ Strong proficiency with technology

+ If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!

+ You have a state license if required

+ Must be 21 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
