    Job Overview

     

    Fairview is looking for a Cook to join the **Ridges Hospital** in Burnsville, MN! This is a casual position that offers a flexible schedule where you pick up shifts. Minimum requirement is 3 shifts per month.

     

    Prepare food items as assigned using standardized recipes to meet established standards of high quality.

     

    Schedule

     

    This is a casual position. Minimum of 3 shifts per month.

    Responsibilities

    + Prepares food products to meet temperature and quality standards.

    + Develops and tests recipes as directed.

    + Completes all documentation related to production

    + Handle and prepare food in safe manner following HACCP standardized operating procedures

    + Follows employee health guidelines to prevent disease transmission.

    + Follows procedures to prevent food contamination.

    + Coordinates and communicates with all internal customers in all service areas.

    + Sanitizes equipment and work area per assigned schedules and designated procedure.

    + Takes responsibility for self and others in work area.

    + Contributes to a safe work environment

    + Demonstrates Commitment to Customers

    Required Qualifications

    + 1 year Relevant experience

    + Ability to communicate clearly, verbally and in writing, using the English language.

    + Basic math skills.

    + Certified or willing to become certified for food safety.
