    Job Description

    An employer in the life sciences industry is seeking an IT Project Manager to lead a site move and closure project involving ERP and middleware systems. This role will manage the migration of manufacturing and operational processes from one site to another, ensuring ERP systems and integrations transition smoothly. The project includes consolidating multiple manufacturing sites and moving ERP tools to SAP, covering modules that support manufacturing, order-to-cash, shipping, and distribution. This person will create and maintain project plans, manage timelines and milestones, and coordinate cross-functional teams across IT, operations, supply chain, and finance. The IT Project Manager will oversee ERP transition activities such as data migration, system configuration, middleware integration, and testing of SAP modules to ensure functionality after the move. The role also involves facilitating communication between technical teams and business stakeholders, providing regular status updates and identifying and mitigating risks.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    - Experience leading large, multi-million-dollar programs ($5MM+) with high complexity.

     

    - Strong understanding of ERP systems, ideally SAP ECC 6 and its modules.

     

    - Proven M&A / Divestiture Experience - a background in projects involving mergers, acquisitions, site closures, or operational moves.

     

    - Ability to understand ERP and middleware architecture and implications during site transitions.

     

    - Familiarity with manufacturing, distribution, and supply chain processes.

     

    Exceptional ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders. Experience transitioning from BAAN to SAP.
