    Job Description

    An employer is looking for an ERP Program Manager is responsible for planning, establishing, and overseeing the SaaS ERP program. This role ensures the successful completion of associated projects within the internal IT portfolio, serving as a key liaison among the PMO, business stakeholders, technical staff, and the selected Systems Integrator. Additionally, the Program Manager provides essential leadership to ERP project teams, ensuring that initiatives are delivered on schedule and within budget, while consistently upholding high standards of quality throughout execution.

    Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

    • PMO representative, partner with management to design, implement, evaluate, and manage assigned ERP programs and projects. Collaborate effectively and provide comprehensive support throughout all project phases.

    • Guide and motivate ERP program or project teams to ensure alignment with customer requirements by establishing clear milestones, goals, and objectives, informed by input from all functional areas and key stakeholders.

    • Hold system integrators accountable for commitments outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW), escalating issues appropriately if concerns remain unresolved.

    • Responsible for documentation of business processes, key decisions and stakeholder approvals.

    • Oversee project schedules to guarantee work is thorough, executable, on track, within budget, of high quality, and resourced according to project scope, system integrator methodology, and contractual obligations.

    • Conduct overall cost analyses for ERP programs and projects, including travel, training, resource allocation, and other relevant expenditures.

    • Act as an escalation point for risk mitigation, leading conflict and issue resolution between program or project teams and stakeholders.

    • Coordinate RFI/RFP activities with third parties and the internal IT procurement team to fulfill implementation requirements.

    • Review and approve payment requests and change orders for contracted third parties.

    • Manage change control processes to maintain alignment of scope, schedules, budgets, and resources based on approved modifications.

    • Provide regular updates to the Steering Committee and other key stakeholders regarding governance actions, performance status, plan variances, issues, risks, and corrective measures taken.

    • Ensure a comprehensive testing plan is established, defects are tracked, and resolutions are actively monitored to minimize schedule impacts.

    • Oversee a robust Organizational Change Management (OCM) workstream related to the ERP program.

    • Recommend appropriate training and communications for ERP initiative cutover and implementation.

    • Ensure full compliance with all IT and departmental policies, processes, and procedures.

    • Coach and mentor Project Management subordinates to foster continuous growth in project skills and capabilities.

    • Travel to implementation sites as required.

    Skills and Requirements

    • BA/BS in Business Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education and experience.

    • 5–7 years leading complex IT ERP programs with matrixed teams and systems integrators.

    • Functions effectively within a recovery or reset setting.

    • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Infor, NetSuite) and manufacturing information systems.

    • Skilled in project management methodologies (SDLC, Waterfall, Agile, Iterative).

    • Proficient in Atlassian Suite, FreshWorks, SharePoint, MS Office (Project, Teams). • PMP certification

    • Professional certifications or licenses

    • Manufacturing Industry experience
