    Job Description

    A client of Insight Global is looking for a Power BI Administrator to join their team. This individual will be responsible for consulting on the Power BI reporting and modeling within this team at Smurfit Westrock, all while utilizing and working with Microsoft Fabric. They will be responsible for provisioning Fabric workspaces, reviewing reports for optimization, and making sure dashboards are running efficiently (running KPIs, tracking metrics, etc.). Additionally, this person will be responsible creating security groups and contributing to security and governance of the Power BI reporting. Pay rate for this position is between $90 and $97/hr.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    - 7-10 years of experience working with data analytics/Power BI, specifically with experience as an admin and a background in development

     

    • Provisioning workshops

    • Working with gateways

    • Working on security governance

    • Analyzing Power BI reports

    • Breaking, failing, optimizing, analyzing

    - Recent experience with Microsoft Fabric

    • Knowledge of OneLake

     

    - SQL and Python scripting experience

     

    - Experience with Power Query

     

    - Experience working with Big Data at an enterprise company

     

    - Good culture fit/communication

     

    Candidate must have rigor, perseverance, ability to think on their feet
