Job Description
A well-known Aerospace company in the Renton, WA area is looking to add an Industrial Engineer to their growing team! In this role you will design and develop production layouts for the company's manufacturing and material storage areas, to increase productivity and standards. The ideal candidate will be able to help workflow optimization by redesigning floor plans in the current cells, while providing real time feedback to explain methodology and processes. Skills and Requirements
• 3-5+ years of experience as an Industrial Engineer, supporting a manufacturing environment (Aerospace experience is a plus)
• Advanced knowledge of production machinery, processes, and standards
• Strong written and verbal skills to understand and communicate technical recommendations to contributors across the organization
• Collaborative leadership skills while implementing productivity changes
• Effective analytical skills to evaluate and interpret data
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot common manufacturing practices • Advanced mathematical understandings to better measure and analyze potential productivity and efficiency of processes
• Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Manufacturing or Civil Engineering
