    Job Description

    We are seeking an experienced Product Data Management Engineer to lead Configuration and Data Management (CM/DM) activities for a DOD proprietary program. This role supports Systems Engineering Integration & Test (SEIT) and Mission Systems teams, ensuring compliance and integrity of complex product baselines throughout the lifecycle.

     

    Implement and maintain CM/DM standards, processes, and tools.

     

    Define and manage CM/DM requirements for hardware, software, and design data.

     

    Oversee product structure integration and resolve complex configuration issues.

     

    Manage product/document identification and control baselines.

     

    Support change control processes (ECPs, RFVs, ERBs, CCBs) and perform audits.

     

    Generate configuration status reports and maintain accurate records.

     

    Ensure proper archiving and audibility of product releases.

     

    Interface with suppliers to enforce CM/DM requirements.

     

    Act as customer focal point for CM/DM.

     

    Work independently with minimal supervision.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.

     

    9+ years of relevant experience.

     

    Proficiency in PLM tools (e.g., PTC Windchill, ENOVIA, Teamcenter).

     

    Top Secret Clearnce 14+ years of experience or equivalent education/experience.

     

    Familiarity with DOORS, Dassault MSOSA, Siemens Teamcenter, GitLab.

     

    Knowledge of EIA-649-1 and/or MIL-HBK-61 standards.

     

    Experience with complex electro-optical or optomechanical systems.

     

    Strong organizational and communication skills.
