    Zurich is currently looking for an Auto Claims Team Manager to work out of any of our larger Claims Offices in the United States.     We are looking for a dynamic leader who willlead and direct a team of technical Claims Professionals in low to high-exposure claims in commercial property/casualty lines of business. Coordinates the work activities of the team, and has responsibility for performance, development, and coaching of staff to maximize contributions and drive employee development and operational improvements.

The candidate selected for this opportunity should be able to report on a hybrid work schedule to one of the following North American Claims offices: Schaumburg, IL; Atlanta, GA; Addison, TX; Omaha, NE.

    Basic Qualifications:

    + Juris Doctor and 5 or more years of experience in the Claims area OR

    + Bachelors Degree and 6 or more years of experience in the Claims area OR

    + High School Diploma or Equivalent and 8 or more years of experience in the ClaimsAND

    + Customer service experience

    + Experience with Microsoft Office

    + Experience collaborating across work groups

    + Knowledge of the insurance industry, claims, and the insurance legal and regulatory environment

    + Travel 0-20%

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Expertise in the Commercial Auto line of business

    + Expertise in handling Rental Liability policies

    + Experience with leading leaders

    + Proven experience in analyzing coverage, liability, and damages for commercial casualty claim

    + Experience in oversight in handling and managing bodily injury claims

    + Experience with change management tools/methodologies

    + People management experience

    + Ability to inspire and influence

    + Knowledge and skill in claims handling

    + Negotiation experience

    + Experience in line of business

    + Excellent communication skills

    + Analytical skills

     

    Your pay at Zurich is based on your role, location, skills, and experience. We follow local laws to ensure fair compensation. You may also be eligible for bonuses and merit increases. If your expectations are above the listed range, we still encourage you to apply—your unique background matters to us.The pay range shown is a national average and may vary by location. The proposed Salary range for this position is $100,200.00 - $165,100.00, with short-term incentive bonus eligibility set at 15%.
