    Job Description

    Insight Global is looking for a Business Architect to join the team of their supply chain client. They will play a strategic role in aligning business goals with operational execution related to their pricing and inventory initiatives. This individual designs business capability models, evaluates organizational processes, and collaborates with senior leadership to drive transformation initiatives. The role bridges the gap between business strategy and technology implementation/ IT architecture, ensuring scalable and sustainable growth. Day to day, they'll be responsible for creating data models as well context and data flow diagrams. They should be comfortable using visualization tools such as Miro to create flowcharts and various diagrams. They must have strong communication skills, with an ability to be concise and facilitate diplomatic, effective conversations amongst senior leadership.

    Skills and Requirements

    • ~2 years as a functional business architect or 6+ years as a business analyst

    • Ability to communicate technical terms to business concepts using context and data flow diagrams

    • Experience using Miro for visual diagrams, charts, process flows, and ideation

    • Background in gathering requirements, creating business capabilities maps, and value stream diagrams

    • Well-versed in turning use cases into business deliverables that are executed by technical solution and enterprise architects

    • Experience working in an AWS environment

    • Basic knowledge of retail or ecommerce concepts, such as pricing and inventory

    • Experience with multi-system integrations and an understanding of domain-driven design and microservices architecture
