    Job Description

    An employer is looking for a Network Engineer in Redmond Wa. They will be supporting the major test venues, They will help streamline operations by addressing the division of responsibilities within test venues to prevent ongoing escalations and refocusing efforts on readiness tasks. The day to day will include the following:

     

    - Development and deployment of automated systems for the rapid and efficient rollout of new network sites and updates

     

    - Development of a capability to verify network configuration and management at production site

     

    - Automated testing framework for network deployments and updates

     

    - Pipeline-based, automated deployments for TNT owned networking tools for production sites

    Skills and Requirements

     

    Thorough understanding of TCP/IP networking, IP routing, core technologies such as IP, TCP, OSPF, BGP, Firewalls, ACLs, DNS, DHCP, IPAM etc.

     

    Experience with one or more of the following: Cisco, Juniper, Alcatel-Lucent, Arista, Brocade, Extreme, Citrix, F5, Fortinet, Palo Alto, etc.

     

    2+ years of major internet routing protocols experience through network layers 1-4

     

    2+ years of working in a Linux/Unix environment experience

     

    Experience Python and providing valuable insights

     

    1+ years of automation scripting using Python, Bash, Shell and/or Perl experience

     

    Lead improvements in existing processes and identify opportunities to enhance or develop new processes

     

    Knowledge of network hardware and packet forwarding architectures.

     

    Experience work in the Lab

     

    Experience with IPv6/IPv4 Design and implementations Enterprise level experience
