Job Description

Insight Global is looking to bring on a Senior GoLang (Go) Software Developer with a strong background in enterprise-scale software development, to support a Federal client of ours. The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of experience working in large enterprise environments and demonstrate deep technical expertise across multiple programming languages and modern cloud-native architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions using Golang (Go) , Java, C and C++.

• Build and deploy serverless applications using AWS Lambda, ensuring high performance and reliability.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

• Optimize and refactor existing codebases for performance, scalability, and maintainability.

• Develop and maintain robust database solutions using both SQL and NoSQL technologies.

• Write unit and integration tests to ensure software quality and reliability.

• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and agile ceremonies.

• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation.

Skills and Requirements

• Must demonstrate 3+ years of Hands-on experience programming in Golang (Go) and familiarity with Go standard libraries.

• 7+ years of working experience as a Software Developer in a Large Enterprise Environment.

• Strong programming skills in Java, C, and C++.

• Hands-on experience with Serverless AWS Lambda development and testing.

• Solid understanding of database systems, including both SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., DynamoDB, MongoDB).

• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. • AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer – Associate).

• Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).

• Familiarity with DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
