Job Description
• We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in machining and metals manufacturing to join our innovative engineering team. The ideal candidate will have an expertise in Machining, GD&T, Sheet-Metals and Tooling Design. You will work cross-functionally with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure product excellence from concept through production. This position offers the opportunity to influence product design, optimize manufacturing workflows, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills and Requirements
7+ years of hands-on experience in mechanical design with advanced CNC machining skills.
• 5+ years of experience in metals manufacturing, with a diverse background in sheet-metals, welding, grinding, heat treating, and assembly.
• Advanced understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Strong skills in CNC machining processes and manufacturing methods such as turning, milling, die casting, molding, and cabling.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling (SolidWorks, Pro/E/Creo, or equivalent) and 2D drafting.
• Familiarity with thermal and mechanical simulation tools and practices.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills applied to engineering problems.
• Experience with vendor qualification and support for outsourced manufacturing.
• This role is 100% remote, but candidates must be willing/able to travel up to ~25% of the time (which will include occasional international travel).
