    Job Description

    Insight Global is looking for a Senior Software Engineer – .NET Full Stack Development is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade web applications and services using modern .NET technologies. This role requires strong full-stack development experience, cloud-based solution delivery using Microsoft Azure, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications and web services

    • Participate in technical design discussions and architecture reviews

    • Perform code reviews and peer reviews to ensure quality and adherence to standards

    • Collaborate with product owners, managers, and other engineers to deliver features

    • Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and maintainable code

    • Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production and non-production issues

    • Maintain and enhance existing systems by identifying and correcting defects

    • Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing

    • Support continuous improvement through learning and adoption of new technologies

    • Work independently and manage priorities effectively when required

    Skills and Requirements

    Backend Development

    • Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core (6.0 / 8.0), Web API

    • Solid understanding of Dependency Injection and object-oriented design principles

    • Experience with multi-tier application architectures (database, services, UI)

    Frontend Development

    • Experience with at least one JavaScript UI framework: React (preferred), Angular, Vue, or Blazor

    Cloud & DevOps

    • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including:

     

    o Azure App Services Environment

     

    o Azure Storage (Blobs, Queues, Tables)

    o Virtual Machines

    • Experience with Azure DevOps / Azure Git Repos

    • Exposure to CI/CD pipeline configuration and maintenance is preferred

    Data & Reporting

    • Experience with SQL Server, Entity Framework / Entity Framework Core, and ADO.NET

    • Exposure to NoSQL databases is a plus

    • Familiarity with SSRS, Power BI, or UI-based reporting tools is a plus
