Job Summary:
Students who have finished their first level of an accredited surgical technologist program can gain real- world experience as a Surgical Tech Intern at ProMedica.
You will assist in opening sterile supplies, organizing the sterile field, and ensuring proper handling of instruments. You will perform tasks such as scrubbing, gowning, gloving, draping mayo stands and cleaning and restocking ORs.
You will support the surgical team by setting up instruments, identifying basic tools and assisting with patient transport.

REQUIREMENTS
+ Education: Must have completed their first level of an accredited surgical technologist program. Must be in good standing in their program which refers to a student that has passed required courses, has achieved required GPA, has registered for required courses, and meets clinical attendance requirements.
+ Skills: Ability to pass competencies of the position according to the job description, evaluation, and department policies
