    Job Description:

    + May perform venipuncture and microtainer collection accurately and efficiently. Ensures specimens are correctly labeled and orders are received properly.

    + Processes and prepares laboratory specimens for testing, including separating specimens by centrifugation.

    + May receive and set up primary specimen cultures, inoculating petri dishes for bacterial growth.

    + May document equipment temperatures, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure proper functioning of laboratory equipment.

    + Monitors reference lab reports and requests results that are overdue. Maintains appropriate inventory levels and places supply orders as needed.

    QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

    High School Grad or Equiv (Required)Medical Lab Associate (MLA-ASCP) - Accredited Issuing Body, Phlebotomy Technician (PBT(ASCP)) - EV Accredited Issuing Body

    Pay Range:

    $18.14 - $29.02
