    Job Summary

    Join our team as a Facilities Maintenance Technician, where you’ll play a key role in creating a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our tenants\. This hands\-on position offers variety every day—from maintaining HVAC systems and ensuring building security to tackling general repairs and seasonal upkeep\.     Schedule:

    + **Rotation:** Alternating weekends

     

    - **Week 1:** Sunday through Thursday \(off Friday, Saturday, Sunday\)

     

    - **Week 2:** Monday through Wednesday and Friday through Saturday \(off Thursday\)

     

    - **Week 3:** Sunday through Thursday \(off Friday, Saturday, Sunday\)

    What You’ll Do

    + Assist in planning, scheduling, and overseeing maintenance and improvement projects, ensuring timely completion, adherence to quality standards, and effective resource allocation\.

    + Assist the Facilities Manager in managing maintenance projects and office buildouts, including coordinating timelines, acquiring quotes, budgets, and stakeholder communication\.

    + Develop project plans, track milestones, and provide regular progress updates to management to ensure transparency and accountability\.

    + Coordinate with vendors and contractors, obtain quotes, negotiate terms, and manage budgets for assigned projects\.

    + Monitor compliance with safety regulations and company standards throughout all phases of projects\.

    + Monitor and adjust temperature controls to maintain optimal comfort levels\.

    + Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC equipment\.

    + Serve as the primary point of contact for tenant needs, representing ownership with professionalism and responsiveness\.

    + Ensure building security and safety at all times\.

    + Handle snow and ice removal to keep outdoor areas safe\.

    + Complete general maintenance tasks, including painting, carpentry, electrical maintenance, and grounds upkeep\.

    + Prepare and paint surfaces such as walls and trim to maintain a polished appearance\.

    + Take on additional projects and duties assigned by your supervisor\.

    Qualifications

    What We’re Looking For

    + Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays\.

    + Strong reliability and commitment to quality work\.

    + Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively\.

    Education & Experience

    + Vocational degree or equivalent training/experience in Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, Heating, and Plumbing\.

    + 3 years of building maintenance or mechanical experience preferred\.

    + Electrical experience preferred\. Masters Electrician License preferred\.

    + Boiler Operator’s license preferred \(or willingness to obtain within 6 months\)\.

    + Professional painting experience\.

    + Experience in project coordination or management is a plus\.

    + Basic computer skills \(Outlook, Word, Excel\)\.
