Hours: 45 hours/week, Mon.-Fri. 8 hours/day, Sat. 5 hours/day, 9:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M.
The start and end of the workday depend on crop and weather conditions, which means work may begin or end earlier or later than usual. Evening and/or night hours may be required. Possible weekend/holiday work.

Job Duties:
Duties may include assisting with daily farm operations, including but not limited to operating a variety of farm equipment such as combines, tractors, and farm trucks to plant, spray, cultivate, fertilize, and harvest crops. Workers will load and unload trucks and may be required to climb ladders, grain bins, and other farm structures.
Workers will maintain and repair machinery, including changing fluids, rotating tires, cleaning grain bins, washing vehicles, checking tire pressure, and performing general equipment maintenance. Additional duties include ground and facility maintenance on the farm and/or housing areas, such as mowing and weed trimming, as well as maintaining and cleaning shop work areas.
This position involves manual labor requiring lifting, carrying, bending, and working long hours in both hot and cold weather conditions. On rainy or inclement weather days, workers will typically perform equipment repairs, maintenance, and preparation for the next workday in the shop.
Workers must be able to follow instructions and be physically capable of performing all assigned job duties, including other related Agricultural Equipment Operator activities consistent with SOC/OES Code 45-2091 (as defined by O*NET Online).
Worker must be available and willing to work the entire season.
Worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures and varying weather conditions.
The employer maintains a drug, tobacco and alcohol-free workplace. Upon hire, workers may be subject to random drug testing at no cost to the worker. A positive test result or failure to comply with testing requirements may result in immediate termination of employment.
### Minimum Education Required
High School Diploma or GED
### Minimum Experience Required
Two (2) months of experience relevant to the job is required.
Must be 18 years of age.
Worker must be able to speak and understand English.
Worker must be able to obtain a valid driver’s license within two (2) weeks of hire and maintain a clean driving record to operate company vehicles.
Worker must be able to exert max muscle force to lift, push, pull, unload, carry objects up to seventy-five (75) pounds (possible 2-person).
Worker must be able to perform work that requires exposure to extreme temperatures, extensive pushing or pulling, sitting or walking, frequent stooping or bending over, and repetitive movements.

### Additional Compensation
Bonus potential based on work performance at the sole discretion of the employer.
As required for all workers in Minnesota, hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of 1.5 times the regular rate of pay.

### Job Benefits
EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts. Required work-related tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer.
Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, an employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) per year, provided the employee works a minimum of 80 hours in a calendar year.
