Position: Engineer, Electrical/Electronics II

Overview: ITC Defense is searching for an Engineer specializing in Electrical and Electronics in support of the Child Youth Program (CYP) Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) and Life Cycle Support Contract.

Responsibilities:

+ Install, configure, test, and maintain CCTV, IP video surveillance, and electronic access control systems for CYP facilities.

+ Perform hands-on setup and troubleshooting of IP cameras, VMS software, access control panels, card readers, and related network equipment.

+ Assist with camera placement, field of view verification, cable terminations, and system commissioning.

+ Diagnose and resolve video, network, and access control system issues to ensure continuous system availability.

+ Perform routine inspections, preventive and emergency maintenance, and system upgrades for CCTV and IP video systems.

+ Support lifecycle sustainment activities, including equipment replacement and technology refresh.

+ Maintain accurate system documentation, configuration records, and as-built drawings.

+ Coordinate directly with vendors, installers, and facility staff during installations and repairs.

+ Ensure systems meet applicable DoD, CYP, and physical security requirements.

+ Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

+ Bachelor's level degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.

+ 3 years of professional experience with design, develop, test, and supervise the manufacturing/integration of electrical and electronic equipment, to include: Systems/Equipment Support, and Test and Evaluation support of C4ISR or similar requirements.

+ Genetec Security Center 5.x Omnicast technical certification (or higher) is required.

+ Ability to travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations.

+ U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Active Security Clearance is not required but is a plus.

+ Experience with reading CAD designs, technical writing, and Virtual Machine (VM) configurations.

+ Advanced knowledge of network protocols , VLANs, firewalls, and VPNs for secure remote access.

+ Strong communication skills with team members and senior government or company leaders.
