Job Summary

Assembles bolts and nuts at designated bolt assembly table, packages bolt orders, over taps nuts, and pulls nuts between departments. May pull bolt orders and deliver material within departments.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

+ Receives bolt orders.

+ Retrieves appropriate bolt material from storage location(s).

+ Assembles bolts and nuts using the Bolt Assembly table.

+ Setup over tap machine to over tap nuts.

+ Packages bolts to prevent damage during normal handling.

+ Lists completed bolt orders in logbook.

+ Delivers materials to proper personnel/storage location.

+ Performs physical count of bolt material for inventory.

+ Must have clear understanding and practice all safety rules and regulations.

+ Must have clear understanding of Quality Policy and Quality System Programs.

+ Maintains a clean and organized workstation.

+ May perform other duties as assigned by lead or supervisor.

Job Specifications

Skills

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

+ Ability to read and interpret instructions and detailed manufacturing procedures.

+ Ability to understand and read measuring tools such as tape measurer and/or ruler.

Education

+ Required: High school diploma or equivalent.

Work Experience

+ No prior work experience required, but experience in a warehouse / manufacturing setting is preferred.

Physical Requirements

+ Must be able to lift fifty pounds independently.

+ Ability to lift, climb, bend, stoop, push and pull.

+ Continuous standing and/or walking.

+ Moderate physical effort- working frequently with average weights of ten to fifty pounds or continuously with lighter weights.

+ Good eye/hand/foot coordination

+ Ability to work in cold, hot and/or dusty environment, with noisy conditions and occasionally outside in the elements.
