    Chenega Agile Real-Time Solutions (CARS) was created with the purpose of providing integrated enterprise IT support to Federal customers both CONUS and OCONUS. CARS employs Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) with decades of experience working in the Federal marketplace.

     

    Chenega Agile Real-Time Solutions (CARS) is seeking a **ServiceNow System Administrator** to support the configuration, administration, and ongoing optimization of the ServiceNow platform. This role is responsible for ensuring platform stability, security, integrations, and continuous improvement aligned with business and mission requirements. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, ServiceNow certifications, and the ability to translate complex requirements into scalable solutions.

    Responsibilities

    + Configure and maintain ServiceNow modules, forms, and workflows to align with organizational business processes.

    + Develop and maintain business rules, UI policies, client scripts, and catalog items.

    + Support platform enhancements while adhering to best practices and governance standards.

    + Manage users, roles, groups, and Access Control Lists (ACLs) to ensure system security and compliance.

    + Implement least-privilege access models and support audits as required.

    + Monitor platform performance, availability, and system health.

    + Perform regular backups and system maintenance activities.

    + Lead and support twice-annual ServiceNow upgrades, patching, and testing to ensure minimal disruption.

    + Design, implement, and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and external systems using Integration Hub, APIs, and MID Servers.

    + Troubleshoot integration issues and ensure data integrity across systems.

    + Administer and support Incident, Change, and Problem Management processes assigned to the platform.

    + Provide Tier 2/3 support and serve as a subject matter expert for ServiceNow-related issues.

    + Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    + Bachelor's Degree and 4+ years relevant experience or

    + Associate’s degree and 6+ years relevant experience or

    + High school diploma or GED equivalent and 8+ years of experience

    + Experience to include:

    + Strong proficiency in JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting

    + Working knowledge of database concepts and data modeling

    + Experience with HTML, CSS, XML, and Web 2.0 technologies

    + Hands-on experience with ServiceNow integrations and MID Servers

    + Experience in the Intelligence Community

    + ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) – required

    + TS/SCI clearance required with the ability to obtain CI poly

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    + Preferred Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS)

    + Ability to work independently and yet be effective within a team setting

    + Must be capable of managing multiple efforts with time-related constraints in a fast-paced contracting environment

    + Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholder groups and individuals

    + Friendly presence, helpful attitude, good interpersonal skills, and ability to work well with others.

    + Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Office applications

    + Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications, and experience working in a home office setting, as well as the ability to train end users on frequently asked technical issues.

    + Ability to provide technical assistance and support over the phone; good phone skills, professional demeanor, and previous customer service experience strongly desired.

    + Good problem-solving skills; ability to visualize a problem/situation and think abstractly to solve it
