    Summary

    The Logistics Manager is responsible for maintaining the organization and inventory of the warehouse and coordinating all shipping logistics for the facility. This position supports the Operations team and is eligible to work an on site schedule out of St. Paul, MN.

     

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities

    Maintain organization and inventory within the warehouse

    + Manage inventory of all packaging material, including skids

    + Maintain general housekeeping on both the dock, stock area and warehouse

    Effectively manage warehouse staff

    + Manage staff on loading dock

    + Schedule driver daily pick up and deliveries

    Successfully coordinate and communicate all shipping logistics

    + Scheduling and coordination of shipments both domestic/international

    + Develop approved customs paperwork for international shipments

    + Track and calculate VAT tax accurately

    + Communicate with freight consignees/freight forwarders for international shipments

    + Track freight and confirm deliveries both domestic and international

    + Track and acquire all shipping quotes for account managers

    + Track and log all rebates from freight partners

    + Track all UPS shipments and confirm delivery

    + Manage all incoming deliveries for shop and office employees for all vendors

    + Schedule courier services pick up and deliveries

    + Maintain daily shipping and receiving reports for all account teams and operations staff in all divisions

    + Develop and maintain weekly shipping schedules

    + Communicate with other location to successfully manage multi facility shipments

    + Coordinate freight for our outsource fabricators to show site

    + Negotiate with carriers cost effective rates

     

    Education & Experience

     

    + Bachelor’s degree preferred

    + 5+ years of experience in a warehouse environment required

    + 2-3 years of logistics experience required, experience in supply chain preferred

    + Experience working with ERP systems

    + Excellent computer skills

    + Advanced knowledge of forklift safety regulations

    + 2+ years managing and leading direct reports preferred

    + Ability to manage multiple complex tasks simultaneously in a fast paced environment

    + Ability to use analytical skills and creativity to solve complex problems

    + Excellent organizational skills

    + Ability to prioritize, structure, and schedule tasks to maximize efforts and meet deadlines

    + Proficient in Google Drive and Microsoft Office

    + Strong attention to detail, a positive attitude, and a team player

    + Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
