**Excellent opportunityfor adynamic Nurse Practitioner** to join ourhighly trained Pre-Admission Testing Team (PAT).Performs comprehensive physical examinations on surgical patients.With emphasis on cardiac and pulmonary issues. Conducts,coordinates, and interprets diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient's clinical problems and health care needs. Records physical findings, and formulates plan and prognosis, based on patient's condition. Discusses case with physician and anesthesia if needed. Prepares comprehensive patient care plan, to optimize patients condition prior to surgery.

Practice Details:

+ 2 years' experience as a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

+ Experience in Cardiology or Acute Care is a plus

+ Position is based in the Pre-Op Clinic at North Colorado Medical Center - Loveland Campus in Loveland, CO.

+ Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday | **No call, No weekends, No holidays**

+ 3 Days/Week, 7AM-7PM

+ Candidate will need to be willing to adapt location/schedule to changing business needs

+ This position will see patients from 8-1630 in the Preop Clinic, providing surgical and anesthesia clearance for patients scheduled for upcoming surgeries. This position will also provide APP Hospitalist presence at the Loveland Campus and support any inpatients on our surgical unit.

+ This position will also be a lead for a new CMS mandate called TEAM which is active on the Fort Collins campus, clearing and tracking patients. This mandate requires Banner to be responsible for any patient having lower extremity joint replacement surgery, major bowel surgery, and spine fusion surgery for 30 days post surgery.

+ This position will be paired with an RN Navigator who will assist in running clinic on a day to day basis.

+ Laptop and shared office in the Preop clinic.

+ Can work over the asked hours and pick up shifts with our hospitalist group as well as on Fridays.

+ This position will work collectively with an existing NP who runs the same PAT clinic at the Greeley campus, and will train with them during onboarding.

+ Salary: $49 - $59 dependent on experience
