    Job Description:

    The Clinical Manager provides leadership and supervision over clinical programming and clinical staff within their assigned program(s). This role is responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of clinical services, meeting the

     

    diverse needs of patients in a trauma-informed setting, driving continuous improvement of program quality standards, and supporting program expansion and sustainability. Collaborating closely with program leaders across Mount Saint Vincent’s integrated continuum of care, the Clinical Manager helps create and maintain a structured, therapeutic, and regulating environment that promotes positive outcomes for all patients, students, families and staff.

    As a Clinical Manager you need to know how to:

    + Oversee daily program operations, including staffing models, quality of care, and regulatory compliance.

    + Ensure efficient service delivery.

    + Implement, monitor, and evaluate program effectiveness to improve patient access, experience, safety, quality, and operational stewardship.

    + Lead and collaborate with other agency leaders to drive strategic initiatives, quality improvement, positive team engagement, and performance outcomes across assigned programs.

    + Manage clinical teams, including hiring, onboarding, training, individual and team supervision, retention, and performance evaluations; promoting high-quality care and team engagement.

    + Demonstrate expert proficiency in trauma-informed care, building and sustaining trusting relationships with patients, interpreting behaviors with insight, and responding effectively to address patient needs. Takes immediate action to address patient concerns for high patient satisfaction.

    + Oversee external referral partnerships, support admissions processes, and work with marketing to strengthen new referral relationships.

    + Maintain an active role in denial prevention. Partner with finance around the revenue cycle and appropriate billing practices. Communicate any necessary information to payers to help appeal existing denials.

    Minimum Qualifications

    + Master of Social Work, Counseling or degree in a related field from an accredited program (degree will be verified) ·

    + Current State Licensure as a LCSW, LPC, LMFT or equivalent (Omit “LPC, LMFT or equivalent” in Day Treatment) ·

    + Current Colorado Department of Education (CDE) licensure as Special Services Provider (SSP) or Temporary Educator Eligibility (TEE) Authorization within 30 days of employment ·

    + Minimum 3 years of relevant behavioral health experience ·

    + Minimum 1 year of relevant clinical supervisory experience ·

    + Basic computer knowledge including experience with Microsoft Office Suite ·

    + Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills across diverse groups of people ·

    + Experience managing multiple tasks or priorities ·

    + Demonstrated typing proficiency ·

    + Demonstrated ability to work effectively in time sensitive situations ·

    + Demonstrated independent and critical decision-making skills ·

    + Positive driving motor vehicle (DMV) record, proof of current automobile insurance coverage, and a copy of a valid and current Colorado driver's license · Basic Life Support and First Aid within 90 days of employment

    Preferred:

    + Five (5) years or more of relevant behavioral health experience

    + 2 years or more of relevant clinical supervisory experience

    + Regularly lift and/ or move up to 50 pounds

    + Employee must be physically able to use crisis prevention/intervention techniques including: physical management of a child, running to prevent a runaway incident.

    + While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms; climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, run or crawl.

    + At times apply therapeutic touch

    The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

     

    $38.55 - $59.49
