    Qualifications for HHA – Certified Home Health Aide:

    + Minimum of one full year work references in any type of field. "Newly certified welcome"

    + Current HHA - Home Health Aide license listed in good standing with the board

    + Must have reliable transportation

    + Must be able to communicate in English

    + Must be authorized to work in the US

    Job Responsibilities for HHA – Home Health Aides:

    + Activities of daily living

    + Light housekeeping

    + Bathing

    + Grooming

    + Toileting

    + Nail care

    + Range of motion / exercises

    + Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices

    + Oral feeding

    + Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration

    + Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc.

    + Assisting with ambulation

    + Medication assistance
