Overview

Shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm, Mon-Fri + every other weekend and rotating holidays
The Cook plays a key role in preparing fresh, high-quality meals, including entrées, vegetables, soups, cereals, sauces, and fried items. Responsibilities also include proper food handling and storage, maintaining a clean and sanitary workspace, and ensuring all food safety guidelines are followed. The goal is to provide meals that are appealing, nutritious, and safe for every customer.

Responsibilities
+ Prepare and cook hot food items while supporting the kitchen team to ensure meals are served on time.
+ Follow recipes and safety guidelines to deliver tasty, attractive, and safe meals every shift.
+ Keep food and equipment handled safely, clean, and well-maintained.
+ Record temperatures, monitor quality, and report any concerns to your lead or supervisor.
+ Collaborate with teammates, provide feedback, and contribute to a positive, goal-driven kitchen culture.
+ Prioritize safety, compliance, and a smooth operation in a healthcare environment.
Qualifications
Experience:
+ Two years cooking or food service experience and the ability to perform at the cook’s level within six months in this position.
License(s)/Certification(s):
+ Serve Safe Certification is required within 6 months after hire .
+ Valid Driver's License.
