    We’re looking for a detail-oriented and tech-savvy individual to join our client's team as a **part-time Computer Operator** in their Data Center. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in operations and support critical systems across the company.

     

    + **Duration:** 6 months with potential extension

    + **Pay Rate:** $21.50/hour

    + **Schedule:**

    + **Average 20–30 hours per week, mostly on weekends working 7am-7pm.**

    + **Training:** 6–8 weeks with 3–5 consecutive shifts per week during this time, primarily evenings or overnights during training. (3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m. or 11:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.)

    + **Post-training:** Will work weekend shifts, plus coverage for vacations, holidays, and on-call needs. For on-call, must be open to working 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift.

    + Holidays required.

    What You’ll Do:

    + Operate corporate computer systems and monitor nationwide data communications

    + Provide after-hours service desk support for all company locations

    + Assist with email administration, user provisioning, application support, and troubleshooting

    What We’re Looking For:

    + Basic understanding of computer networks and endpoint devices

    + Strong problem-solving and communication skills

    + Ability to work independently and prioritize under pressure

    Preferred Experience:

    + Operating remote terminals and troubleshooting hardware/software issues

    + Familiarity with IBM mainframe systems (Z/OS, JES2, VTAM, IMS, AS/400, AIX)

    + Service desk/help desk support
