The Client Service Associate WIP works under general supervision, using specialized knowledge and skills obtained through experience and/or formal training to provide pro-active support to insurance clients and the Insurance Agents. Established procedures and prescribed guidelines are provided to perform a variety of tasks requiring minimal evaluation, originality, or ingenuity in making routine decisions. Contribute to the increased generation of commission and fee revenue by maintaining and enhancing client relationships while assisting Insurance Agents with efficient, quality client service. Extensive contact with internal and external customers to identify, research, and resolve problems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with clients, Insurance Associates, and carriers to ensure optimal client account maintenance and support.

• Manage the production and processing of all client account documentation.

• Maintain production reports for accounting purposes as well as performance tracking.

• Assist with answering phones, screening calls and relaying messages appropriately.

• Assist with firm audits and with maintenance of compliance files.

Competencies Required:

• A general understanding of all carrier systems.

• Basic understanding of branch operating systems (i.e., Zywave, Redtail or similar).

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (i.e., Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint or SharePoint).

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Excellent customer service skills.

• Ability to interact and communicate effectively with internal and external parties.

• Ability to multi-task effectively and leverage internal resources.

• Excellent attention to detail.

• Strong client focus and ability to partner with various internal groups.

• Independent, self-motivated with an ability to adapt and be flexible in a team environment.

• Ability to navigate client relationships and product usage.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Minimum Qualifications/Experience:

• 5 years of financial services industry experience, or an equivalent amount of experience, education, and training required.

Formal Education & Certification:

• Associate’s degree preferred.

• Texas insurance license preferred.

Work Status:

• Full-Time.

Supervisory Responsibility:

• None.

Travel:

• 0% - Negligible amount of travel expected.

Working Conditions:

• Conditions involve lifting no more than ten pounds, sitting most of the time, but may involve walking, moving, or standing for brief periods, and occasionally lifting and carrying articles like files, ledgers, folders, etc.
