    Your role and responsibilities

    As a Project Manager: Generalist, you will lead a project team in delivering a solution to the client using the appropriate business measurements and terms and conditions for the project. You will have overall performance responsibility for managing scope, cost, schedule, and contractual deliverables.

    Your primary responsibilities will include:

    • Manage Project Scope and Deliverables: Lead the project team in delivering a solution to the client, ensuring that all contractual deliverables are met, and applying techniques for planning, tracking, change control, and risk management. • Establish Effective Communication Plan: Develop and implement a communication plan that ensures effective collaboration and communication with the project team and the client.

    • Provide Day-to-Day Direction: Provide regular direction to the project team, ensuring that all project resources, including subcontractors, are managed effectively.

    • Manage Project Resources: Oversee the allocation and utilization of project resources, ensuring that they are used efficiently and effectively to meet project objectives. • Report Project Status: Provide regular project status updates and requests for support to project stakeholders.

     

    Leaders are expected to spend time with their teams and clients and therefore are generally expected to be in the workplace a minimum of three days a week, subject to business needs.

    Required technical and professional expertise

    • Project Management Experience: Experience with managing projects, including scope, cost, schedule, and contractual deliverables, with a focus on applying techniques for planning, tracking, change control, and risk management.

    • Team Leadership Experience: Experience in leading a project team, providing day-to-day direction, and managing project resources, including subcontractors.

    • Contract Management Experience: Experience with managing projects according to project charters, project agreements, or contracts, with a focus on meeting contractual deliverables.

    • Communication Planning Experience: Experience with developing and implementing effective communication plans that ensure collaboration and communication with project teams and clients.

    • Resource Allocation Experience: Experience with overseeing the allocation and utilization of project resources to meet project objectives.

    Preferred technical and professional experience

    • Contract Negotiation Skills: Experience with negotiating contracts, including terms and conditions, to ensure alignment with project objectives and stakeholder expectations. • Advanced Risk Management: Experience with identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks to ensure project deliverables are met, and applying techniques for risk management. • Stakeholder Engagement: Experience with engaging stakeholders, including clients and project team members, to ensure effective collaboration and communication throughout the project lifecycle.
