    Overview

    **JOB TITLE:** Snowflake Developer

    **SALARY:** $70.00-$73.00/hr

    The Work

    The Snowflake Developer is responsible for design, develop, and optimize data solutions using Snowflake’s cloud data platform. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in data warehousing, ETL processes, and performance tuning, along with strong SQL skills and experience integrating Snowflake with various data sources.

    Responsibilities

    Key Responsibilities

    + Design and implement scalable data pipelines and solutions using Snowflake.

    + Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and views for performance and efficiency.

    + Configure and manage Snowflake environments, including security, roles, and resource monitors.

    + Integrate Snowflake with ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, dbt) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

    + Implement data governance, security policies, and compliance standards.

    + Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality data solutions.

    + Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues, ensuring optimal query execution and cost management.

    + Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Qualifications – Here’s What You Need

    + 10+ years in data engineering or development roles, with at least 3+ years of hands-on Snowflake experience.

    + Strong proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts.

    + Experience with ETL tools, Python, and cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP).

    + Knowledge of Snowflake features: Streams, Tasks, Time Travel, Cloning, and Data Sharing.

    + Familiarity with performance tuning and cost optimization in Snowflake.

    + Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.

    Minimum Skills:

    + Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate in a clear, professional, and articulate manner.

    + Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

    + Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with high-level attention to detail.

    + Proven ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast past environment with changing priorities; adaptable to change and a quick learner.

    + Must be self-motivated and able to work well independently as well as on a multi-functional team.

    + Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately

    Preferred Experience:

    + Experience with dbt, Airflow, or similar orchestration tools.

    + Knowledge of BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker).

    + Snowflake SnowPro Certification is a plus.

    Working Conditions
