WHO YOU ARE
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced **Senior Financial Reporting Analyst** to work from our **Overland Park, KS** office. This role will provide data center site level financial analysis & accounting analysis across a complex and rapidly growing legal entity structure. Reporting to the Director of Site Accounting & Reporting, this highly visible role will partner across Facility Operations, Engineering and Asset Management teams.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
+ Review monthly financial results, assess variances to forecast and provide reporting for various levels of internal management reporting needs
+ Partner with department heads and operational leaders to provide financial results and support strategic initiatives.
+ Collaborate with FP&A, Asset Management and other departments to assist with financial budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning
+ Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders.
+ Provide support for the annual internal and external audits.
+ Assist on special projects, including accounting for significant transactions.
+ Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
+ Responsible for supporting management initiatives including process standardization and simplification, financial analysis and research, and reporting.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
+ BA/BS in Accounting or Finance or Business Management with an emphasis in Accounting.
+ Two or more years of experience in the accounting/financial reporting areas.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
+ CPA.
+ Three or more years of experience in the accounting/financial reporting areas.
+ Experience in public accounting at a Big 4 firm.
+ MBA, or graduate finance related degree.
+ Workday, Microsoft Great Plains or other large ERP systems experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
+ Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with all levels of the organization.
+ A strategic thinker with an understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and financial processes.
+ Professional agility.
+ Intermediate/advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
+ Experience with automated accounting systems.
+ Must have the ability to effectively interface with all levels of the organization.
+ Demonstrate willingness to partner across internal departments.
