Summary:

Perform technical support in the perioperative period under the direction and supervision of a RN according to accepted clinical standards of care.

Required Education includes High School Diploma or Equivalent, in addition to completion of an Accredited Surgical Technology Program.

Required specific skills also includes knowledge of sterile technique, instrumentation, equipment, and sterile field set-up.
