    Responsibilities

    Lead Scheduler (Radiology Department)

     

    The Lead Scheduler ensures the efficient operation of Radiology scheduling and clerical functions. This role coordinates daily scheduling activities within Radiology and serves as a liaison between departments to support optimal patient care and workflow.

    Qualifications

    EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

    1. High School Graduate or GED Equivalent Required (effective 4/1/14 for all new hires)

    2. Knowledge of multiple insurance authorization requirements

    3. 1-2 year previous experience in a hospital environment.

    4. Knowledge of medical terminology

    5. Effective written and verbal communication skills

    6. Ability to multi-task, prioritize needs to meet required timelines

    7. Analytical and problem-solving skills

    8. Customer Services experience required9. Strong clerical and computer skills.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $16.72 to $21.53. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
