    Summary:

    Switchgear Sales Engineers work hand in hand with our Sales Team to help coordinate order and delivery of project materials. This position is customer-facing and requires great customer service skills as well as technical expertise. Sales Engineers will be ordering material from vendors, coordinating delivery to our warehouse and then final shipment to the jobsite.

     

    Reports to: Profit Center Manager

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + Electrical Design/ Engineering Background

    + Communication Proficiency

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + 5 years industry experience, switchgear sales and quotations

    Working Conditions:

    Office environment and occasional warehouse environment. Will be working in a sitting or standing position throughout the day .

    + Review and plan specifications

    + Follow up on proposals, projects, and customer issues

    + Be a resource for coworker with regard to design and technical questions

    + Be knowledgeable on new trends, products, and obsoleting items

    + Fill quotes and provide added value by identifying items to add or replace
