Job Description Overview:
The Electrical Engineer will design, specify, implement, commission, and maintain mill-wide electrical and instrumentation systems, as well as provide troubleshooting assistance to operations in maintaining and improving all production-related equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Develop, implement, and proactively enforce safety programs and practices.
+ Provide electrical leadership to assist in the maximization of all key performance indicators.
+ Assist with the implementation of multiple projects from conception through completion.
+ Works with Engineering/Maintenance/Operations teams on process efficiency improvements, cost savings, and technology advancements.
+ Provide engineering and technical support to mill operations and maintenance.
+ Develop and execute capital projects to support strategic initiatives, reduce costs, and sustain and improve operations from a safety and environmental standpoint.
Experience & Qualifications:
+ Degree in Electrical Engineering required or equivalent experience.
+ Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Web-based systems.)
+ Clear communication (oral and written) skills.
