The Edinburg Center is seeking a Behavior Monitor FFS in the Central region covering Leominster, Fitchburg and Gardner Behavior Monitor FFS $25 per hour
Role Summary: The Edinburg Center is seeking creative Bachelor level Behavior Monitor to join our in-home behavioral Services team. Responsibilities:
+ Assist in conducting functional behavior assessments and skills assessments in family homes
+ Assist in designing positive behavior support and skill acquisition plans with individualized behavioral goals
+ Implement, model and monitor progress of individualized behavior support and skill plans based on data analysis under the supervision of BCBA
+ Collaborate with youth team members
+ Assist in training parents and caregivers who implement plans with children and families on principles of Applied Behavior Analysis
Qualifications:
+ BA in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Special Education or human service-related field
+ Experience in implementing principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
+ Experience in implementing positive behavior support plans and teaching new skills
+ Experience working with youth 21 years and under with serious emotional and behavioral challenges or Autism
+ Highly organized
+ Excellent written and interpersonal skills, team player
+ Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
Who you are:
You are a compassionate professional with a minimum of a bachelors (masters preferred) and at least 2 years of experience with Developmental Disabilities population as well as current or prior supervisory experience.
This is an ideal opportunity for a current Home/House Manager to continue their growth and development in a leadership role or a current supervisor with Developmental Disabilities experience. You have the ability to work within a team, as well as independently. You have advanced interpersonal, leadership, communication and organizational skills including proficient computer skills including the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
