Transform Product Safety and Regulatory Compliance for Amazon's Legal Team
We're seeking a strategic problem-solver who will play a critical role in ensuring product safety and regulatory compliance across Amazon's expansive online marketplace. In this pivotal position, you'll collaborate with legal, business, and regulatory teams to develop innovative compliance solutions that protect customers and maintain Amazon's commitment to excellence.
Key job responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze product regulatory developments in the United States
- Partner with regulators to address inquiries about products sold on Amazon's platform
- Develop and implement strategic compliance controls across business and operational teams
- Create long-term compliance initiatives that proactively address potential regulatory challenges
- Collaborate with selling partners to enhance product compliance and safety standards

Your day will be dynamic and impactful, focusing on monitoring product safety regulations, engaging with regulatory bodies, and developing comprehensive compliance strategies. You'll work across multiple teams, leveraging technology and strategic thinking to implement robust compliance processes that safeguard customer experiences.

Our Regulatory Intelligence, Safety, & Compliance (RISC) Legal team is dedicated to building trust through meticulous product oversight. Basic Qualifications
- 4+ years of compliance program management, legal, governance, audit, risk/loss prevention, or equivalent experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience with research and investigation skills or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of program requirements definition and data and metrics leveraging to drive improvements experience
- Professional auditing qualification, or similar risk or compliance credentials
- Experience establishing successful partnerships with internal and external teams to execute tactical initiatives or equivalent
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience handling confidential information

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
